What Is the Archetypal Mind?

The site explores the Archetypal Mind, which is a mental construct composed of twenty-two archetypes, concept complexes or personas, which define the structure of the Human psyche. Each of us is a complex of the mind, body and spirit. Everything that we can possibly do on Earth in any meaningful way, operates in accordance with these twenty-two archetypes.

They represent the natural laws which enable all Humans to grow, learn and make choices. Archetypes are special types of concept complexes, which are the blueprints that were chosen for all possible Human interactions on Earth. Each archetype is a persona, which has its own specific characteristics.

Each one is a complex of perspectives, consisting of general desires and intentions, each of which has a capacity for certain types of energy exchanges. Each has a certain quality which does not change and has a certain feeling to it. As Humans, we are not able to act outside of their constraints.

ABOUT ME

Hugh Maloney

As for myself, I guess that I'm a generalist, a non-specific disciplinarian, with no particular objective belief, one way or another. I suppose you could call me an agnostic, but that does not seem to fit the bill either. It probably stems from the observation that the more that I live my life, the less relevant that the necessity for absolute truth becomes - In fact, it may even be a hindrance. I call myself a continual experimentalist, a process orientated empiricist, a detractor from substantiation, an eternal wanderer, reaching for experiences of meaning which dissolve any resistance to being in the physical world.  My perspective, arises from flitting from one subject to another, looking for something, which never seems to arise, which is only hinted at or inferred ...

MY Book of the MONTH

Letting Go

I am delighted to present as my book of the month, my latest publication, called Letting Go. The meditative offerings in the book provide the reader with a fresh context through which to view our necessary personal development. I am asking us to step through the ‘looking glass’ out beyond the illusory perception of ‘end-times’ and join me in the process of releasing from our weary lives, all that no longer serves our deepest purpose and binds us to a past that restrains our potential. I exclaim that it is time to intervene into our own habits, dogmas and egotism, which have separated us from our true centre, from which our groundedness, wellbeing, creativity and radiance arise.

These poems are shared from the daily edge of discovery, arising from my experiences of falling over ten thousand times, and standing up each time. These are poetic meditations that ask us to turn all that we know upon its head, inviting us to dissolve that which previously defined and limited us.  Letting Go is a call to meet our messy, imperfect human journeys with compassion, tolerance and patience - to find the strength and determination to forgive ourselves for our acting out, playing small and rise up to remake ourselves anew in the faith of our own becoming.
